Embracing Our Core of Light: Sober

Eighteen years ago today, I took a pivotal step in my life towards sobriety and clarity. As I reflect on this milestone, I am filled with gratitude for the lessons learned along this journey, especially regarding the profound realization of our shared core of light within every individual.

At the heart of our being lies an undeniable essence of light and love, a universal truth that transcends earthly distinctions and divisions. This core essence, pure and untainted, radiates within each of us, connecting us on a level far deeper than external appearances or life experiences.

One of the most significant lessons I've learned is that in the eyes of the divine source, there is no concept of wrongdoing or abandonment. We are eternally cherished and embraced, regardless of our past actions or current circumstances. This realization is a powerful testament to the unconditional love that permeates our very existence.

Imagine for a moment tapping into your soul's essence, unblemished by earthly attachments or negative emotions. In that pure state, there is no room for pain, fear, judgment, or ego. It is a state of complete acceptance and love, a state we all inherently possess yet often overlook amidst the complexities of daily life.

Acknowledging this core of light within ourselves is only half of the equation. It is equally crucial to recognize and honor this light in others. By doing so, we foster a sense of unity and interconnectedness that transcends differences, promoting compassion and understanding in our interactions.

Human experiences and societal conditioning may veil this inner truth, making it challenging to perceive consistently. However, through mindfulness, introspection, and perhaps even mystical experiences, we can glimpse the profound reality of our inherent divinity.

It's essential to remind ourselves and others that our worthiness and lovability are not contingent upon external factors. We are inherently worthy of love and forgiveness, embodying the essence of pure, unconditional love at our core.

As we navigate life's twists and turns, let us strive to live from this place of inner light and extend compassion to ourselves and those around us. By embracing our core of light, we not only transform our own lives but also contribute to a more harmonious and loving world.

May we always remember the profound truth: We are fundamentally and unconditionally loved, just as we are.
